Job:
1. Maintaining, designing and further developing our company environmental protection, health and safety at work.
2. Analysing work processes, workplaces, machinery and equipment to identify risks and hazards, supporting the preparation of risk assessments
3. Evaluating injuries, accidents and near-accidents and developing and introducing necessary countermeasures
4. Planning, introduction and further development of preventive measures as well as independent preparation, implementation and follow-up of occupational safety committee meetings
5. Advising management on issues of occupational health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection as well as monitoring compliance with safety regulations in production
6. Planning and implementation of instruction, training and education courses
7. Support in the planning and implementation of occupational health management (OHM)
8. (Further) development of EHS key figures as well as their presentation to plant management and the management team
9. Trustful cooperation with the works council, company doctor and external partners, service providers and authorities
Profile:
10. Successfully completed engineering studies, e.g. as a safety engineer, or training as a technician
11. Further training as an occupational safety specialist as well as proof of safety expertise according to DGUV V2
12. Several years of experience as an appointed occupational safety specialist in a medium to large company with production in the field of mechanical engineering, metalworking or chemistry.
13. Experience in the field of explosion protection documentation, handling of explosives as well as assessment of hazardous substances and noise workplaces would be an advantage
14. Confident in the use of MS Office applications
15. Very good written and spoken German and English
16. Affinity for structured work as well as independent and very accurate way of working

17. Aufrechterhaltung, Gestaltung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung des betrieblichen Umwelt-, Gesundheits- und Arbeitsschutzes
18. Analyse von Arbeitsprozessen, Arbeitsplätzen, Maschinen und Anlagen zur Identifikation von Risiken und Gefährdungen sowie Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Gefährdungsbeurteilungen
19. Auswertung von Verletzungen, Arbeitsunfällen und Beinaheunfällen sowie Entwicklung und Einführung geeigneter Gegenmaßnahmen
20. Planung, Einführung und Weiterentwicklung präventiver Maßnahmen sowie eigenständige Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Nachbereitung von Sitzungen des Arbeitsschutzausschusses
21. Beratung von Führungskräften und Management in Fragen des Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutzes, Brandschutzes und Umweltschutzes sowie Überwachung der Einhaltung von Sicherheitsvorschriften in der Produktion
22. Planung und Durchführung von Unterweisungen, Schulungen und Trainings
23. Unterstützung bei der Planung und Umsetzung des Betrieblichen Gesundheitsmanagements (BGM)
24. (Weiter-)Entwicklung von EHS-Kennzahlen sowie deren Aufbereitung und Präsentation für die Werksleitung und das Management-Team
25. Vertrauensvolle Zusammenarbeit mit dem Betriebsrat, dem Betriebsarzt/der Betriebsärztin sowie externen Partnern, Dienstleistenden und Behörden
Profil:
26. Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Ingenieurstudium, z. B. im Bereich Sicherheitsingenieurwesen, oder eine Ausbildung als staatlich geprüftein
27. Zusatzqualifikation als Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit sowie Nachweis der sicherheitstechnischen Fachkunde gemäß DGUV Vorschrift 2
28. Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung als bestellte Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit in einem mittelständischen oder größeren Unternehmen mit Produktionsumfeld, idealerweise im Maschinenbau, in der Metallverarbeitung oder in der Chemieindustrie
29. Erfahrung im Bereich Explosionsschutzdokumentation, im Umgang mit explosionsgefährlichen Stoffen sowie in der Beurteilung von Gefahrstoffen und Lärmarbeitsplätzen von Vorteil
30. Sicherer Umgang mit MS-Office-Anwendungen
31. Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
32. Ausgeprägte Affinität zu einer strukturierten Arbeitsweise sowie eine selbstständige, sehr sorgfältige und gewissenhafte Vorgehensweise
