We are currently recruiting for one of our client·s, a global leader in sustainable automotive technologies
As part of their growth, we are looking for a

Senior System Defect Resolution Engineer (H/F/X)

to join their team in Luxembourg on a 9-month contract.

Your profile:
Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Automotive, Mechatronics or similar)
Minimum 8 years of experience in automotive system development, ideally in power electronics
Strong understanding of system interactions (hardware / software / vehicle)
Proven ability to lead complex technical topics and drive them to closure
Customer-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Hands-on experience with tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, CANoe, INCA, JIRA
Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) and high-voltage systems
Fluent in English (German is a plus)

Your main responsibilities:
Perform return-part analysis and identify root causes of defects in power electronic systems
Define and drive system-level defect resolution strategies
Coordinate xniyctf cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Testing)
Plan, execute, and analyze advanced test campaigns (bench, HiL, vehicle level)
Participate in technical reviews and customer discussions
Act as a technical interface with clients for defect resolution topics
Track and report defects using tools such as JIRA and monitor KPIs
Travel up to 25% when required
