Job Description
Help us take our current cutting-edge solution that connects and controlls our industry-leading instrument portfolio to the next level by continuously enhancing and refining it on an exceptionally high standard. You will not only work with AI-assisted development tools — you will also support their practical adoption within the team and apply your expertise to steadily refine our engineering workflows.
* You will translate architectural visions into robust, scalable code and are a part of our internal agile Software Development Team.
* You will deliver clean, maintainable, and high‑performance software in an object‑oriented programming language, code generated or assisted by AI – such as RooCode or Codex – and help to integrate AI effectively into our daily workflows.
* You will design and maintain APIs, protocols and data formats that ensure seamless interoperability across systems.
* You will collaborate closely with fellow developers, offering support and sharing expertise while helping to shape innovative solutions for integrating internal and external systems.
* You will explore emerging technologies, build new features and continuously improve the functionality of our devices.
* You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams in an international and dynamic environment – from IT and QA to Marketing and Customer Service.
Qualifications
* You have successfully finished your academic education in Computer Science, Natural Science (e.g. Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics) or similar.
* You demonstrate strong expertise in service‑oriented software development and experience in software for device integration, connectivity or synchronization.
* You have handson experience with AI-assisted coding, a strong affinity for applying AI-tools in software development and a clear understanding of both their potential and their current limitations. Ideally, you are proficient in modern C++ or Golane.
* Your agile mindset enables you to break down requirements and design them into manageable increments and pieces.
* More over, you are very open to different technologies, keep yourself up to date with new tools and – if necessary – are willing to learn new ones.
