Role Summary
As the Head of User Growth for "Accio Work," Alibaba.com's flagship AI product in Europe, you will spearhead our market penetration strategy from early adoption to scale. You will leverage deep insights into the European B2B cross-border e-commerce ecosystem to design and execute data-driven growth loops. Drawing inspiration from industry leaders like Shopify, Perplexity, and Claude, you will tailor global best practices to local markets, driving significant improvements in user acquisition, activation, and retention. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of Generative AI and global trade, offering the opportunity to define the future of intelligent sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
● Growth Strategy Formulation: Develop and execute comprehensive user growth strategies for Accio Work across the European region, covering the full funnel from Acquisition to Revenue.
● Competitive Benchmarking & Innovation: Conduct deep-dive analyses of growth tactics employed by companies like Claude, Shopify, and Perplexity. Adapt and innovate these strategies to fit Alibaba.com's unique B2B context and European user behaviors.
● Data-Driven Experimentation: Establish a robust A/B testing framework to continuously optimize landing pages, conversion funnels, and onboarding flows, ensuring every decision is backed by data.
● Channel Expansion: Identify, launch, and manage diverse digital marketing channels across Europe (including SEO/SEM, social media, and niche industry communities) to build a resilient acquisition matrix.
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Brand teams to translate user insights into product features, ensuring product-market fit.
● Ecosystem Partnership: Explore strategic partnerships with local industry associations, e-commerce enablers, and influencers to amplify product reach and credibility.
Qualifications
● Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher with 5+ years of experience in user growth, preferably with a proven track record in B2B platforms or SaaS products (especially AI-driven tools) within the European market.
● Market Insight: Deep understanding of the European cross-border e-commerce landscape. Familiarity with the growth trajectories of competitors like Shopify, Perplexity, and Claude is highly desired.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Google Analytics) and strong capability in experimental design. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German, French, or other European languages is a plus.
● Mindset: Highly logical and innovative thinker with a results-oriented approach. Ability to iterate quickly and solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
● Communication: Excellent cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to drive cross-border and cross-functional initiatives effectively.
