This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and manage strategic relationships with works councils across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with regional labor laws and supporting cross-functional HR initiatives. About the Team The HR Governance team focuses on legal and regulatory compliance across global HR operations. From cross-border employment matters to employee representation and organizational setup, the team ensures that people-related processes align with local laws and global business goals. Key Responsibilities Works Council Strategy: Develop and implement strategic approaches to works council engagement in collaboration with global HR, legal, and business stakeholders. Partnership & Communication: Build trusted relationships with works council members and lead/support negotiations on topics like IT updates, performance management, and company policies. Advisory Support: Provide expert guidance to HRBPs and business leaders on co-determination and labor law matters; develop HR compliance training programs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate regional HR projects and contribute to global initiatives involving employee representation and governance.
