This strategically critical role is based in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, with responsibility across a highly complex European footprint.

Its European operations span approximately 100 facilities — including production plants, offices, and warehouses — across 35 countries.
The Role
This position defines and drives the Facilities, Security, & Safety strategy and roadmap across all European operations. Leading a regional organization of more than 100 professionals, the role ensures operational excellence while advancing transformation through technology, sustainability, and data-driven processes. As a key member of the Regional Strategic Leadership Team, this role has high visibility and direct impact on business performance, resilience, and employee wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and scale a European Infrastructure organization of 100+ FTE, accountable for Facilities, Security, and Safety across all operations.
* Define and deliver the regional Infrastructure strategy and roadmap, balancing operational excellence with transformation, sustainability, and cost efficiency at scale.
* Act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leadership, aligning Infrastructure capabilities with business priorities and enabling performance, resilience, and employee wellbeing.
* Oversee regional governance, crisis and business continuity management, cross-country programs, and leadership development to ensure long-term organizational readiness.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a senior Facilities Management executive with a strong track record in large, complex industrial multinationals.
* Hands-on experience in production environments is essential, with deep expertise in managing facilities within operational settings.
* Multi-matrix experience is a must, including the ability to operate effectively across countries, cultures, and regulatory frameworks within a global organization.
* A strategic mindset combined with executional strength, credibility at senior leadership level, and the ability to lead at scale.
