Join us as our new Business Development Manager In the Meat & Prepared Food Business Unit, you will be part of building a highly visible, highly strategic business unit in one of Novonesis fastest growth areas - hence a "start-up" state of mind and energy is a must-have. The Business Unit is responsible for setting the strategic direction enabling our customers to meet consumer demands by delivering world-class biosolutions. We cover global activities related to go-to-market strategy and tactics, early­ stage innovation, product development and management as well as new business development. This is a combined role of several categories & platforms. Cured and fermented meats & Bioprotection for ready to eat food being the primary categories. Innovation Strategy Develop and set innovation strategy fitting with consumer and customer needs, while balancing fit with Novonesis' commercial capabilities, technical capabilities and partner innovation strategy Identifying new growth opportunities and building valuable innovation pipeline Executing innovation projects all the way into a successful launch in the market In This Role You'll Make An Impact By Commercial lead in innovation team for Meat & Prepared Food and Bioprotection. Defining and driving the innovation - early and late stage - agenda and priorities with the team. Align priorities and resource investment with BU leadership and partner steering committees Secure commercial validation and customer desirability across the innovation portfolio in strong collaboration with customers and relevant regions and the BU team incl. business cases, channel strategy, concept development, IP strategy, pricing strategy for new products Secure launch performance for new and recent products Actively interact and visit key and selected customers to promote and support progression of key sales opportunities of recent and new launches in collaboration with regional teams Potentially Relevant Experience M.Sc. degree (Business/Marketing and/or Technical) Minimum 5 years of international marketing and/or sales experience. Experience from the Food & Beverage application/ingredient industry is a must. Excellent project management, and a strategic, visionary and analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem solving Proven abilities in turning complex environments into commercial concepts with compelling value propositions. A team player with a desire and curiosity for a fast-paced learning curve, who is self-driven and thrives working independently in new areas Excellent people and communication skills and the ability to convincingly engage with internal and external senior level stakeholders.
