As Group Senior Expert Fill & Finish, you will play a key role in a strategic international greenfield project. Reporting to the Group Director Fill & Finish, you will provide expert guidance across aseptic manufacturing and support the selection of suppliers and equipment, contributing as an SME to the successful establishment of the new site.
The position will be located at one of our production sites: Vienna (Austria), Springe (Germany), Stockholm (Sweden) or Lingolsheim (France).

Your main tasks and responsibilities
1. Act as a Subject Matter Expert specializing in aseptic processes, including aseptic filling and stoppering, freeze-drying, capping, RABS/isolator technology, material preparation (cleaning and sterilization), primary packaging materials, and single-use systems
2. Lead and contribute to strategic corporate initiatives supporting business objectives, including the development of a new plant
3. Implement decisions and strategies set by the Board, and assess, review, and approve relevant corporate documents
4. Represent Octapharma in interactions with external organizations and suppliers
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory standards (GMP for sterile drug products), and emerging technologies through benchmarking with pharmaceutical companies and suppliers
6. Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and international partners to drive continuous improvement and innovation
Your expertise and ideal skill set
7. University degree in Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
8. At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in sterile product manufacturing
9. Practical experience with aseptic processes is highly desirable
10. Project management or leadership experience is a plus
11. Proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus
12. Analytical and goal-oriented mindset with a strong focus on quality and efficiency, combined with excellent collaboration skills in multicultural and international team environments
13. Willingness to travel frequently to other Octapharma sites in Europe and globally, as well as to suppliers

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 4,270.14 based on 38 hours per week (full-time). As we strive to offer a salary that reflects your individual profile and qualifications, there is a willingness to pay above the minimum salary.
