IT clerk (m/f/d) The Institute for Communication and Examination Research gGmbH is looking for the next possible date IT clerk (m/f/d) full-time Our Institut für Kommunikations- und Prüfungsforschung gGmbH supports over 100 institutions worldwide in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of examinations in education, training and further education with tailor-made software solutions. With around 75,000 successfully completed exams on paper, scanners, computers, tablets and browsers with more than 15 million participants, our team has played a leading role in the design and digitalization of examinations since 2005. For internal IT administration (approx. 50%) as well as first/second level support and software testing (approx. 50%), we are now looking for committed colleagues with innovative ideas to join us full-time. What are your tasks? Administration and support of the lT infrastructure incl. software solutions and peripherals Implementation and monitoring of data backup Setting up hardware and software Linux system administration Administration and monitoring of server and network infrastructures Analysis and rectification of faults Creation and maintenance of network/system and software documentation Testing and first/second level support of the software tools provided for the partners What do we expect from you? Completed IT technical training Professional experience in IT administration is desirable Good network knowledge and good technical understanding of network infrastructures Good command of written and spoken English Experience with internet technologies and web server applications High level of commitment, flexibility, goal orientation and the ability to work in a team Independent and quality-oriented way of working Enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics, issues and areas of responsibility What can we offer you?
