Scaling IT/OT/ICS Security Teams Across Europe AI Security, Quality & Governance Permanent | Full-time Language: English required, German advantageous Start: ASAP About the Role We are supporting an organisation that builds AI-enabled products and platforms with a strong focus on Security by Design and Privacy by Design. As an AI Security, Quality & Governance Expert, you will translate policies, standards, and regulatory requirements into practical, scalable security architectures for AI systems. You will work at the intersection of security, cloud platforms, AI engineering, and governance, ensuring that AI solutions are delivered securely, responsibly, and efficiently. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with engineering, architecture, security, data protection, and compliance stakeholders. Your Responsibilities Design and implement security architectures for AI integrations, including agent security, protection against prompt injection, and validation of AI workflows Establish Security-by-Design principles, security standards, and architecture documentation to enable teams to work efficiently and securely with AI Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for AI features, distributed AI systems, and multi‑agent orchestration platforms Advise engineering teams on AI security architecture decisions, trade‑offs, and best practices aligned with evolving threats and vulnerabilities Translate security research and vulnerability insights into architectural improvements and reference implementations Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to balance security requirements with delivery speed and business priorities Work with data protection, IT security, legal, and compliance stakeholders to ensure AI systems meet regulatory, privacy, and governance requirements (e.g. EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, data protection regulations) What We Are Looking For 8+ years of professional experience in security architecture or application security, including significant exposure to securing AI/ML systems Deep understanding of AI system architectures and associated security risks Proven expertise in threat modeling and security architecture for complex, distributed systems Experience designing security controls for distributed applications and automated workflows Strong knowledge of secure software development and DevSecOps practices Ability to communicate complex security topics clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders Experience with AI frameworks, agent architectures, and orchestration platforms Demonstrated ability to balance security, compliance, and business objectives Strong collaboration skills and experience influencing decisions across teams and functions Preferred Qualifications Experience validating AI workflows, agent testing, and monitoring approaches Knowledge of AI governance, risk, and compliance frameworks Programming experience in Python, ideally in AI or security‑related contexts Relevant security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent) Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps platforms Publications, talks, or contributions related to AI security or secure system design What’s Offered Purpose‑driven work on secure and responsible AI foundations Real impact through security standards and architectures applied across teams Hybrid working model with a high degree of autonomy Pragmatic, ownership‑driven culture with a ship & learn mindset Long‑term stability and meaningful technical challenges Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Information Technology Industries IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment | Certified B Corporation™ by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
