We are looking for committed employees to ensure the offshore operation of our wind turbines in the Nordseecluster Offshore Wind farm, consisting of V wind turbines with MW each and a resulting total capacity of over 1.5 GW.
You will work in a key role of our Service team. Temporarily travel to other Offshore wind farms within Vestas for training, education and sharing experience is a vital part of the offered position. As an Deputy Supervisor, you will work in a team of 3 or more technicians and also - when not working in the field - support the Site Management of the Windfarm in order to ensure a smooth and reliable operation of our wind turbines.
Your main tasks:
Manage and coordinate service operations on site in cooperation with the Offshore Service Supervisor, which consist of:
1. Plan & coordinate service tasks on a daily basis
2. Organize vessel + O&M team transfers
3. Monitor weather forecasts
4. Prepare transfer plans + Daily reports
5. Create and manage work orders in SAP & Approve hours of technicians
6. Maintain and update planning board
7. Assist the implementation of new procedures/processes
8. Planning of annual service and maintenance
9. Input to Monthly Customer Report
10. Ensure implementation of Upgrades
11. Cooperate with the customer representatives to ensure high customer satisfaction
12. Being part of and lead the team of offshore engineers on the wind turbines
13. Fault finding and rectification on electrical and mechanical systems
14. Completing scheduled service on wind turbines
15. Act as Operational Controller and as SAP/ HV Control person
16. Compliance to Vestas Health and Safety Standards
17. General support to the Service Manager
Your qualifications:
18. You completed an electrical degree from a technical school/college/university
19. You have at least 2 years of professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or with high voltage
20. You have professional wind turbine experience.
21. You are comfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective challenges this brings.
