Responsibilities:
* Take full commercial ownership of a large-scale MEP package on a data center project.
* Manage cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting across the project lifecycle.
* Lead valuations and applications for payment.
* Identify, price, and negotiate variations and change orders.
* Manage subcontractor procurement, commercial negotiations, and contract administration.
* Monitor project cash flow, cost-to-complete, and margin performance.
* Work closely with project delivery teams (PM, Engineering, Construction) to align commercial and operational strategy.
* Provide accurate and timely commercial reporting to senior stakeholders.
* Support risk management, cost mitigation, and value engineering initiatives.
Skills/Must have:
* Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor on MEP or complex construction projects.
* Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems within construction environments.
* Experience delivering large-scale projects (£20m+ packages, ideally higher).
* Strong track record managing variations, change orders, and protecting project margin.
* Knowledge of contract forms such as NEC, FIDIC, or JCT.
* Experience managing subcontractor packages and commercial negotiations.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, site-based environments.
