We are looking to hire an ICQA Area Manager to be part of our fulfillment center Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) team. Our fulfillment centers (FC) sit at the heart of Amazon’s rapidly growing operations network: they manage our fast-moving inventory, including stowing deliveries, picking products, packaging, and shipping. These centers are fast-paced and high reward environments where adherence to policies and procedures is key. We need a leader who ensures reliable delivery to customers while guiding teams to deliver on customer obsession.

Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise a team of hourly Associates (including Team Leads and Data Analysts) assigned to inventory control, quality assurance, and problem-solving operations within the fulfillment center.
* Support safety programs and compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates. Work with Operations and other Support teams to establish, influence and adhere to policies and procedures.
* Coordinate inventory control, quality assurance, and problem-solving operations in accordance with network strategies, ensuring SOX compliance and consistency.
* Conduct shift planning and forecasting, assign and direct work, oversee projects to streamline processes, increase quality, and optimize productivity.
* Ensure KPIs are reviewed regularly and perform quality analyses on behaviors/processes affecting inventory integrity and customer experience.
* Develop expertise in key fulfillment center process paths and exceptions to drive continuous improvement with the operations management team.
* Support interviewing and training of fulfillment center managers and associates, developing talent and hiring the next generation of managers.
* On a day-to-day basis, oversee inventory control, quality assurance, and problem-solving operations; analyze data for trends and opportunities for process improvements; coach and develop team members; maintain safety standards; and prepare handovers for shifts.
Qualifications
* Basic Qualifications: A degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in operations management.
* Relevant experience in performing data analysis and understanding data sets and tools.
* Proficient in the local language and English, both spoken and written.
* Advanced MS Office suite user, especially Excel.

* Resilient, focused problem solver and self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a complex and ambiguous environment.
* Strong commitment to employee development and a high level of dedication to team management.
* Proven ability to influence peers or stakeholders within Ops organization.
* Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and techniques.
