For our Head Office in Munich, we are looking for 2 positions as “VIE – Financial Controller” starting August / September 2025, with passion and drive who are citizens of the European Union. You support the business in several aspects, from monthly finance and contribution to reporting budget and ad-hoc finance analysis. You work closely with the accounting back office to ensure the financial statements.
VIE meaning: As a French company, we are proud to take part the Voluntary International Program (VIE). A VIE allows you to undertake a secure professional assignment abroad and offers you the chance to get to know new cultures while gaining professional experience. The conditions to be eligible for the VIE Program are the following:
1. Being aged between 18 and 28
2. Holding a French or an European citizenship
3. Determinate duration for this position it is 1 year
4. Available beginning of August/September 2025
Tasks & Responsibilities
As a Financial Controller you will support the Head of Finance in overseeing all financial and control-related activities of Central & Eastern Europe. In this zone we manage 6 countries, task and responsibilities are split among two Financial Controllers taking care of three countries each. This role is critical in ensuring financial transparency, compliance, and strategic insight across the zone.
5. Preparing weekly sales performance report for the management
6. Participating in month-end closing activities
7. Preparing monthly reporting on Revenue, Stock & Expenses
8. Preparing monthly commentary on actuals vs budget spend
9. Preparing monthly reporting for the French parent company LVMH
10. Participating in budget planning and assisting in creating budget presentations
11. Collaborate with Head of Departments/Budget Owners to review and challenge their monthly expenditures and refine quarterly/semester forecasts.
12. Analysing KPIs, cooperating in audits and assisting with ad hoc business and financial control projects
13. Supporting implementations of financial and IT projects as well as internal control and implementation of processes
Profile
14. Graduated from a master's degree of a business school or a university
15. First experience in a similar position within an international group is a plus
16. Ability to analyze, compare and interpret facts quickly
17. Financial Statements, Accounting and Analytical skills
18. Strong communication skills, empathy, and agile mindset
19. Comfortable in handling multiple projects/tasks easily
20. Excellent Excel and financial software skills, experience with SAP is a plus
21. Prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
22. Holding a French or an European citizenship
23. Fluent in English, another language on top is a plus
