Your Key Responsibilities
* Conduct advanced research in risk analysis and statistical modelling of complex actuarial data
* Plan and manage quality research projects, supervising a team in cooperation with a Professor
* Develop own research projects in the area of risk analysis and statistical modelling
* Identify and apply for research funding, allocating project resources
* Disseminate research results at international conferences and to the industry
* Teach up to 90 hours per year in the Master of Actuarial Science, developing new courses
* Contribute to student assessment activities, writing and reviewing assignments and questions
* Supervise master students carrying out practical work
* Participate in dissertation supervisory committees
About You
* PhD in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics or Finance
* Interest in interdisciplinary work, especially in actuarial/economic/finance research
* Detailed knowledge of relevant models, techniques and methods, able to develop new ones
* Success in planning related work, building a team and delivering research results
* Ability to formulate advice on and manage programmes/projects
* Experience in programming languages such as Python or R
* Excellent written and oral skills
* Capacity to integrate into a team and collaborate with its members
