As an Execution Engineer, you will take ownership of configuring and servicing advanced thermal digital twins deployed for customers worldwide. To deliver the customer requirements on time, you will need to work with thermodynamic modelling software, review design as well as piping and instrumentation documentation, and integrate these with Python and PHP code. Your strong project management and communication skills will enable you to guide your projects through each phase effectively. Experience in developing innovative concepts and applying machine learning techniques will further strengthen our team as we prepare for future challenges and opportunities. How You’ll Make an Impact
1. Representation of the team in execution and service projects, ensuring efficiency, timeliness, and high quality across all deliverables
2. Development, configuration, and refinement of thermodynamic digital twins for power plants, each tailored to unique design characteristics and operational contexts
3. Guidance and support for team members across multiple global locations, fostering collaboration and aligned delivery
4. Driving of innovative concepts by combining logical rigor with creative problem‑solving to create scalable, advanced performance‑monitoring systems
5. Application of expertise to refine the identification and reporting of performance and efficiency KPIs, directly enhancing the value delivered to customers
What You Bring
6. University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a comparable technical discipline.
7. Several years of experience and a strong personal commitment to the thermal modelling of power plants, including the development and implementation of thermodynamic concepts, ideally complemented by proficiency in modelling tools such as KRAWAL Modular, GTPerform, GTMatch and Dynty
8. Demonstrated motivation and curiosity in coding and machine learning to contribute to the creation of forward‑looking, modern, and customer‑centric digital products
9. Strong interpersonal capabilities and proven experience in collaborating with and guiding team members from diverse cultural backgrounds
10. Practical experience in customer projects, encompassing negotiation and end‑to‑end project execution
11. Fluency in spoken and written German and English, complemented by flexibility, an open and inclusive mindset, and a willingness to travel approximately 10–20%
