Mission

Build the Future of Cancer Treatment with IBA in Valencia

At IBA, we are driven by one mission: to fight cancer through advanced proton therapy. As a global leader in proton therapy solutions, we design and deliver innovative technologies that help treating patients with greater precision while reducing side effects. In partnership with the Spanish Ministry of Health, and with the support and funding of the Amancio Ortega Foundation, we are contributing to the expansion of proton therapy in Spain, helping make proton cancer treatment more accessible to patients.

We are now looking for talented candidates to join us in an exciting journey in Valencia. This opportunity is more than a job : it is a chance to contribute directly to a technology that changes lives.

We are seeking passionate, technically minded profiles who are motivated by challenges and meaningful impact. Our ambition is to build a strong, cohesive team that will carry out at least two consecutive installations in Spain: a first one in Valencia, followed by a second project at another Spanish site. Our HR team will support you in your relocation to your second location.

Each installation project will last approximately 15 months, structured as follows:

1. 3 months of comprehensive training to fully immerse you in IBA values, our technology and our system
2. Followed by the installation phase of the equipment, where you will actively contribute to deploying proton therapy systems on site

Challenges we trust you with

Logistics support

3. Tracking the receipt and shipping of all spare parts for the site
4. Coordinating delivery and shipping of equipment and parts with other sites
5. Following up on the ordering, shipping and warehousing of all parts and materials to support operations

Accounting support:

6. Managing site purchasing accounts (vendors, subcontractors, etc.)
7. Monitoring and recording petty cash and site financial account usage
8. Preparing and monitoring invoices and expense reports

General administrative tasks including

9. Coordinating meetings
10. Taking incoming calls and providing information to callers
11. Incoming and outgoing correspondence
12. Composing memos and generating reports
13. Organizing business related travel itineraries to and from the site, plan hotel stays, taxis and car poolmanagement
14. Providing HR support (tracking vacation & coordination with payroll)

What we value


You have:

15. A Bachelor degree
16. Minimum 5 years’ experience as Administrative Assistant or Office Manager ideally in an internationalenvironment
17. An experience in HR or accountancy administration is an asset
18. Strong knowledge of MS Office whereas knowledge of SAP is an asset
19. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English

21. Able to manage your time efficiently
22. Able to follow rules and regulations and to deliver on strict deadlines
23. A team player with strong interpersonal skills
