Purpose of the Job
Help develop, implement, support, and review all human resources department initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems, which could involve continued involvement in and refinement of the recruitment process, including generating job descriptions, posting advertisements, and managing the hiring process. Cultivate training and development programs and compensation and benefits programs. Participate in performance evaluation processes. Composure and confidentiality are required to handle disciplinary and grievance issues. Administrative duties include the upkeep of employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.). Ensure compliance with all policies and legal requirements, including the monitoring of working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
Role Summary:
As our new HR Generalist (m/w/d) at Hyundai Motor Europe, you support the full employee lifecycle and ensure that HR processes, data, and documentation are handled accurately, confidentially, and in compliance with regulations. This role sits at the operational core of HR, combining structure, precision, and service orientation in a fast-paced, professional environment.
We want you to:
* Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract preparation, and offboarding.
* Maintain accurate HR records and employee databases, ensuring confidentiality and data protection compliance.
* Handle HR documentation such as absences, leave requests, benefits forms, and payroll-related updates.
* Support recruitment activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
* Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and professional support.
* Prepare, manage, and maintain HR documents and reports.
* Support HR data management, basic analytics, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and transparency.
About you:
* Bachelor’s degree or related education with background in Business Administration or Human Resources
* 1-3 years’ experience in HR administration or a comparable support role.
* Solid understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and confidentiality standards.
* Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
* Clear, professional communication style and strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle sensitive information responsibly.
* Fluid in German and English language
