We are seeking an experienced and proactive HSE Manager to lead, implement, and maintain our Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across all construction sites. The HSE Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects comply with local regulations and company policies, while also fostering a strong culture of safety throughout the organization.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all sites meet local HSE regulations and act as the primary point of contact for external HSE consultants.
* Compile, maintain, and organize all HSE documentation through Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) also incl. Operation and Maintenance (O&M)
* Conduct regular site visits during the construction phase to verify adherence to HSE standards.
* Preparation of tender documents for external consultants (e.g., when entering new markets)
* Investigate incidents and accidents, coordinate with contractors, and produce internal investigation reports and monthly HSE summaries for all active projects.
* Develop and implement internal HSE processes and corporate health & safety standards, including: Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS) templates, Training procedures and onboarding for site staff and Internal audit protocols and checklists

* Coordinate and support local H&S representatives and/or third-party safety consultants, ensuring compliance with national regulations such as: UK CDM Regulations, Ireland SHWW Act and Germany DGUV Standards
* Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and ensure lessons learned are shared across projects.
* Monitor site-specific safety KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Support the development and delivery of internal HSE training and awareness campaigns.
Your Profile:
* Proven experience in a similar HSE role, ideally within the construction or infrastructure sector.
* Strong knowledge of relevant national and international HSE legislation and standards.
* Experience working with third-party consultants and coordinating multi-site operations.
* Excellent communication, investigation, and reporting skills.
* Ability to travel to project sites on a semi-regular basis.
* HSE certifications relevant to local legislation (e.g., NEBOSH, SiFa, etc.) are a plus.
* Fluent in German and English (additional language skills are a plus).
