Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to join our research team. The position is part-time, approximately 65% of full-time employment, and will be filled by September 1st 2025.
The successful candidate will work in the research group Neurohomeostasis, Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University Hospital Bonn. Our research focuses on understanding the intricate links between stress, proteostasis, and cellular function, aiming to identify promising therapeutic targets for the treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or Biochemistry.
* A strong background in cell signaling, proteostasis, and autophagy mechanisms.
* Familiarity with statistical methods, data analysis, and omics data interpretation.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
