Your tasks
* As Global Commercial Project & Risk Manager for the project execution phase, you will lead and develop the global Commercial Project Management (CPM) organization across all business units of Voith Hydro.
* Develop and implement the global CPM strategy in line with corporate goals and customer expectations.
* Standardize and continuously improve CPM processes, tools, and KPIs in all operating units.
* Provide professional leadership to the business units’ CPMs in the global matrix organization and promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
* Support and escalation management for critical or endangered projects
* Build and implement a global training and certification program for CPM
* Implement and ensure active global risk management in project execution
* Monitor global project portfolio performance together with the Global Head of Project and regularly report to the Board of Management
* Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, transparency, and customer orientation.
Your profile
* Degree in law, economics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable field of study.
* Knowledge in contract and commercial management, ideally in the context of EPC/EPCM projects, as well as experience with common standards and regulations (FIDIC, NEC, etc.).
* Solid professional experience in commercial project execution or bid processing, plus 10 years of experience in international plant or construction projects.
* Basic knowledge in finance and accounting, controlling, taxes, and insurance.
* Experience with project management tools, planning tools (e.g., Primavera), and SAP is an advantage.
* Fluent English skills; German and other languages are a plus.
* Leadership skills in a line or matrix organization.
* Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20%).
* A pragmatic and solution-oriented approach, strong personal work organization, initiative, and collaborative spirit.
