Senior Engineering Programme Manager – Robotics
Munich (Hybrid)
A fast-growing European robotics business is building advanced humanoid systems for real-world use. The focus is on reliability outside controlled environments and deployment at industrial scale.
The team is bringing together AI, control systems and hardware into one integrated platform. With early prototypes already built and labs expanding in Munich, the business is moving toward pilot deployments over the next few years.
They are now looking for a senior programme manager to take ownership of complex engineering delivery across multiple disciplines.
The role
You will sit at the centre of engineering and drive delivery across hardware and software. The focus is on keeping pace high while maintaining structure, clarity and control.
* Manage timelines, milestones and critical path across engineering teams
* Coordinate mechanical, electronics and software development activities
* Drive risk management and de-risking strategies
* Keep communication clear across teams and stakeholders
* Work with suppliers and support scale-up into manufacturing
* Oversee test plans, validation and development environments
What they’re looking for
* 10+ years in engineering programme or project management
* Experience in start-up or fast-paced environments
* Proven track record taking products from development through to production
* Background in complex hardware or mechatronic systems
* Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing (10,000+ units per year)
