Your prospective job:
For our international client in the field of aviation and space programs, we are looking for you as an Software Engineer (m/w/d) C++ Qt Aerospace in Bremen for permanent employment.
Your responsibilities:
6. Development, design and implementation of full life-cycle simulation software
7. Improvement of the simulation framework, user front-end and test/debug interfaces and tools
8. Task Performance throughout the software lifecycle (software requirements, architecture, design, code, test, integration and documentation)
9. Coordination with customers and internal software teams (design, review and timely delivery of simulators)
10. Support for our customer teams during mission preparation and maintenance of simulators
Your profile:
11. Completed studies with a degree in engineering (PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering) or a comparable qualification
12. High competence in modern C++, Python, Linux
13. Work experience as an IT Developer or software engineer in the field of simulation would be an advantage
14. Work experience in the space sector (ground station software) would be an advantage
15. Technical Knowledge of federated simulation and co-simulation would be a plus
16. Know-How of Qt, Git, DOORS and JIRA and embedded software is an advantage
17. Understanding of ECSS-SMP tools/environments and software standards (e.g. ECSS-E-ST-40C- or DO-178B) would be a plus
18. Fluent in English, written and spoken
