Job Description
As a Medical Specialist in Oncology, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care, from diagnosis through to recovery.
You will be responsible for:
* Organizing and preparing for appointments, examinations, and therapy sessions
* Managing documentation and scheduling
* Developing and maintaining digital patient records
* Providing telephone support to patients and their families
* Performing blood draws and inserting venous access devices
* Administering infusion therapies under medical supervision
In addition, you will serve as a point of contact for patients, family members, and other departments within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A degree in medical science or a related field
* Experience in phlebotomy and vascular access device insertion
* Knowledge of infusion therapy procedures
* Familiarity with digital scheduling and documentation systems
* Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
