Job Summary
This is a fixed term employment contract wtih a duration of six months.
As a key member of the West HR and recruiting team, this person will help us shape the future talent profile of West. By identifying and attracting top talent to West, this recruiting associate will have the opportunity to play a key role as the organization grows and transforms. This individual will become a partner with client stakeholders, including the site HR team, and will work to develop, communicate and execute jointly on recruiting plans to support the site. Ultimately, he/she will assist West in efficiently delivering on its talent needs to achieve our immediate and future business goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Proactively and strategically source, screen and assess qualified candidates for targeted job requisitions
2. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified and diverse talent for hourly and salaried positions
3. Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment plans
4. Collaborate with key stakeholders and HR partners to understand the business needs and ideal candidate profiles to deliver effectively on the hiring needs of the business
5. Help to meet hiring needs through planning of job fairs, interview days, or other high-volume candidate processing programs that help West most efficiently meet its hiring needs
6. Work to deliver a diverse slate of candidates wherever possible
7. Establish and build relationships with other recruiters and HR team to share knowledge, HR trends and experiences to execute best practices enterprise wide
8. Provide data, research and analysis on competitive intelligence, labor trends, information about external marketplace and West’s employer brand position to attract top talent
9. Manage all activities within the West applicant tracking system (ATS) and accurately track and report recruitment activity data to support staffing metrics from the time a requisition is opened to the time candidates are identified for offer and onboarded
10. Manage all background check and drug-screening processes related to new hire processing
11. Manage all offer processes in an accurate and efficient way Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
12. Analyze job descriptions and candidate profiles to determine target profile needs and appropriate match
13. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
14. Abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules
15. Exhibit reliable, punctual and predictable attendance
Education
16. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business or Human Resources discipline required
Work Experience
17. Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience in an agency, search firm or corporate setting required
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
18. Ability to multitask in a high-pressure environment
19. Demonstrated success developing relationships and meeting new people
20. Strong administrative and computer skills including Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems and social media channels
21. Ability to prioritize work and manage deliverables and timelines independently
22. Knowledge of sourcing techniques using a variety of sourcing tools and platforms
Travel Requirements
5%: Up to 13 business days per year
