The Role:
We're seeking Engineering Managers to lead cross-functional teams of approximately 3-5 engineers. In this role, you’ll spearhead the development of technical solutions that drive both user satisfaction and ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the functional and disciplinary leadership of your team.
* Collaborate with your engineers to deliver high-quality solutions in cross-functional projects.
* Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define goals and roadmap.
* Partner with product, design, and other key teams to understand business context.
* Collaborate with peers and senior technical leaders to influence strategic tech decisions.
What You Bring:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, along with a solid track record as a Software Engineer, with hands-on experience in developing both backend and/or frontend applications.
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, Kotlin, C#, Ruby, PHP, TypeScript, or frameworks like React.
* Proven technical leadership, including responsibilities such as system architecture, goal setting, task planning, code reviews, and overall system design.
* Experience in a team leadership role (formal or informal), with a strong ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
* Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
* Demonstrated ownership and a strong track record of delivering impactful work.
* Deep expertise in the technologies you've worked with, along with a solid foundational understanding of others.
