HCLTech Germany is looking for an experienced leader to grow our engineering business focused on Automotive business in the Germany market.This is a direct customer facing role to drive and scale up Automotive business.
The position is responsible for creating of new and managing existing opportunities across all engineering services line, cross selling / up-selling into new/identified accounts in Germany region, support & drive relationships with customer, collaborate with other sales team, delivery, finance, legal and different practice horizontal.
The ideal candidate will possess experience of work with Automotive and Engineering services industry, with a strong sales background that enables him/her to engage at the CXO level, easily interact Industry verticals, enterprise customers and sales/field reps. The candidate should have demonstrated ability to think strategically about business and technical challenges with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions. The position also requires strong technical acumen along with knowledge of the automotive consulting services landscape
Roles and Responsibilities
* Drive and deliver sales revenue focused on new and existing accounts. Previous experience of working in automotive /engineering for global customer preferably European customers
* Ability to leverage engineering offerings in clients across Germany and expand to other technological areas in the customer business landscape.
* Works with practice sales leaders and other business leads to sell Engineering solutions
* Able to drive and structure customer facing discussions using automotive engineering domain knowledge
* Build customer relationship by continuous problem solving attitude and demonstrate thought leadership
* Work & collaborate with practice horizontal sales, delivery and functional teams to define digital offerings and solutions in ERS space
* Coordinate and work with Engineering services team and the ISV in Europe region to create partnership led sales plays
* Execute strategic business plan while working with key internal stakeholders
* Work with HCLTech marketing to create relevant campaigns and promotional opportunities for Europe region
* Consistently meet sales revenue and gross margin target for Automotive line of business in acquisition of net new accounts
Qualifications
* 12+ yrs of relevant experience and excellent presentations, communication (oral & written) and relationship building skills.
* Prior track record of leading and running a large sales team for/with automotive engineering & digital manufacturing ecosystems
* Thought leadership and expert in selling Digital Engineering ( Digital Twin, Cloud/Platform Engineering, etc) into Automotive industry
* Proven relationship/Connects with C-level executives in large German automotive customers
* Experience working in dynamic environment with changing priorities and experience dealing with ambiguity
* Lead a large team and achieved business growth and targets through building relationships with cross functional team members, key stakeholders, executives
* German Language is mandatory
