The Market Surveillance Office of EEX monitors exchange trading to ensure the adherence to our rules and regulations, as well as national and international law. We are looking for a new teammember as Legal Counsel to join our Investigations Team with a focus on legal topics. In this position, you will act as legal advisor within the team and create in-depth analysis about suspicious trading behaviour. You present and discuss your work and ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
Market Surveillance maintains reporting lines and regular contact to Management Board of the Exchange, Exchange Supervisory Authority (SMWA), BaFin, ACER and all European national energy regulators, in particular BNetzA.
The Investigation Team conducts in depth analyses of situations that appear to do not comply with existing rules and regulations. In this context, participants are questioned and documents are requested for review.
