Voith Hydro is a global leader in sustainable hydropower solutions. As part of our HSE team, you will help ensure safety and environmental compliance across complex international projects.
Your Tasks
* Act as the designated Occupational Safety Specialist (SiFa) under German law (ASiG, DGUV V2).
* Lead and support HSE initiatives across all project phases – from design to execution.
* Serve as the main contact for client HSE representatives and internal stakeholders.
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and training sessions on-site (travel up to 35%).
* Ensure compliance with German, EU, and international regulations (e.g. WHG, TRGS 519, REACH, COSHH).
* Maintain accurate documentation (SDS, hazardous substance registers, risk assessments).
* Promote a strong safety culture through inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.
* Support incident investigations and follow-up on corrective actions.
Your Profile
* Degree in engineering, occupational safety, environmental science, or related field.
* Certified SiFa (Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) – mandatory.
* Experience in HSE project roles with client interaction.
* Strong knowledge of German and EU HSE regulations.
* Experience with hazardous materials and asbestos coordination (TRGS 519).
* Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
* Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
* Willingness to travel internationally (up to 35%).
