Accountant Position
We are a leading company in reusable packaging containers, aiming to optimize our products for a more sustainable future. Our role is crucial in making the food supply chain eco-friendly by reducing waste and carbon footprint.
This position involves key responsibilities such as:
* Journal Entries and recurring postings.
* Managing monthly closing processes (accounts clearing, intercompany reconciliation, switch accounts reclassifications and reconciliation).
* Preparing and posting accruals and provisions.
* Completing period end closing activities for fixed assets (Sub-ledger reconciliation, depreciation, settlements); ensuring correctness and completeness of Fixed Asset Master Data and Asset under Construction.
* Creating ad hoc and recurring reports, including statistic reports and monthly/annual reporting packages.
* Managing bank statement reconciliation.
* Performing intercompany netting and improving process documentation.
To be successful in this position, you should possess:
* A college degree in Business Administration or equivalent accounting qualification.
* A few years of experience in accounting, specifically general ledger and fixed assets, incl. VAT regulations as well as accruals and provisions accounting in an international environment.
* Working experience with SAP FI.
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (MS Outlook and Excel).
* Experiences in accounting projects.
* Language skills: fluent in English and Italian.
