Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee mechanical work during outages and routine maintenance in a power plant environment. The role requires experience with HV and LV equipment and ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate mechanical teams during outages and maintenance.
* Oversee installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems (pumps, turbines, valves, compressors, piping).
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures, especially around HV and LV electrical equipment.
* Collaborate with electrical and other disciplines to safely complete work.
* Review technical drawings and specifications; monitor and report equipment performance.
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and work authorization documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Strong mechanical knowledge in power plants, including rotating and static equipment.
* Experience working in HV and LV environments and understanding electrical hazards.
* Supervisory and team management skills.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Focused on safety, compliance, and efficient outage execution.
