About this Position As part of the Aerospace EIMEA organization to define and execute and ambitious strategic Net external sales revenue and target plan, including detailed forecasting and regular performance reviews to ensure alignment with business goals focusing the Defense sector in Germany. What you´ll do Translate key Defense customer’s strategy and priorities into a joint Global innovation roadmap Develop and support regular updates of the Defense Key Account Strategic Plan, maintain a 5 year strategic business roadmap to anticipate market trends and guide long-term growth. Maintain sustainable and long-term relationships with key Defense account, key executives and sponsors Executes and develops strategies for product / technology positioning and defines training and promotional needs with Marketing. Leads the Go-to-Market strategy for Defense customers in Germany, ensuring alignment with European business priorities and coordinating cross-functional teams to maximize market penetration. Identifying Defense market dynamics, developments/product/service expectations and translating them into business growth opportunities Builds relevant customer / market relationships and attends and supports relevant events, exhibitions, trade fairs and interactions with the governments in the region Steers and support internal resources to execute account strategy Be responsible for timely and accurate admin. tasks supporting account strategy incl. sales forecast updates, monthly reports, etc. What makes you a good fit Bachelor's degree at a minimum is required. Prefer a degree in a technical area of study 5 years at a minimum of experience in Aerospace; preferable Defense industry Air / Ground / Sea Strong strategic planning & business acumen with proven experience in building relationships Excellent interpersonal skills along with strong customer interaction and communication skills Ability to travel will be required at a minimum of 50%.
