DHL eCommerce is the youngest of the DHL divisions, dedicated to both domestic and international parcel delivery through our cutting-edge cross-border products. We are looking for a Senior Global Sales Operations Manager to join our international team at DHL eCommerce.



Job Purpose

The Senior Global Sales Training and Strategic Program Manager plays a critical role in shaping the global salesforce at DHL eCommerce. Reporting to the Global Head of Sales Development, this leader is responsible for designing and executing a world-class sales training strategy and multi-year learning roadmap, as well as driving high-impact global sales programs that directly support the organization’s strategic priorities. This role will ensure that all salespeople across regions are positioned as trusted advisors and equipped with the skills, tools, and coaching needed to outperform in a competitive marketplace.

Your Tasks


Global Sales Training Strategy, Deployment & Coordination


* Own and drive the global sales training strategy end-to-end, from design and content development through execution, evaluation, and continuous refinement.
* Collaborate with stakeholders and use external market insights to ensure all training initiatives are market-relevant and locally adaptable.Develop and roll out the Sales Executive and Sales Manager Learning Journeys to ensure every sales professional is equipped with the skills, behaviors, and mindset to compete effectively and to foster a performance culture driven by coaching, feedback and on-the-job development.
* Define a multi-year training roadmap balancing global consistency with local flexibility.
* Own and continuously optimize LMS (Learning Management System) usage, including vendor and stakeholder management as well as user engagement.
* Set and monitor KPIs to drive data-based improvements and track training impact.
* Act as a role model facilitator and establish and lead a Global Sales training community to ensure training excellence at scale.

Strategic Global Sales Programs


* Design and lead high-impact, multi-year global sales programs based on performance data, market trends, and frontline feedback.
* Translate global strategic goals into scalable program frameworks for sales leaders and executives.
* Create programs that are innovative, measurable, and engaging.
* Present programs to global audiences to ensure buy-in and successful rollout.
* Develop incentive and recognition programs that drive behavior change and performance.
* Partner with Sales Development to define success metrics, ROI models and post-program impact reporting to ensure continuous improvement.

Sales Training Platform Ownership, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

* Own the global Sales Academy, ensuring integration, accessibility, translation, and alignment with commercial enablement.
* Lead performance reporting with dashboards and KPIs to demonstrate impact on sales capability, productivity and performance.
* Track program deployment and performance trends to inform on improvements and investment decisions.
* Manage LMS and tech partners to enhance adoption and functionality.
* Manage the global sales training budget including forecasting, cost tracking, and optimization to ensure training investments deliver measurable value


What You Bring


Qualifications & Experience

* Minimum 7–10 years of experience in global/regional L&D, sales enablement, or strategic program management in a multinational setting.
* Degree in Business Management or related field; advanced certifications in L&D, Sales Enablement, or Program Management are a plus.
* Proven track-record in designing and deploying global training strategies and programs
* Proven sales leadership or sales management experience with strong understanding of frontline commercial dynamics.
* Profound project management skills with complex and cross-functional stakeholder landscapes.
* Ability to lead multiple high-impact initiatives in parallel.
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* Strong analytical skills for performance tracking, KPI development, and ROI evaluation.
* Excellent communicator, able to tailor messages for executive and operational audiences.
* Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, coaching methodologies, and modern sales training practices.
* Experienced facilitator and presenter for high-level training and strategic events.
* Proficient in LMS, reporting tools, and enablement platforms; Salesforce and digital tools are a plus.
* Proactive and accountable, with strong sense of ownership.
* Growth mindset focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
* Combines creativity with commercial focus for engaging, results-driven solutions.
* Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with global scope and local execution.
