KG Organization Gas Services Business Unit Central Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day You start your day by reviewing project requirements and clarifying technical details with colleagues from sales, project management, and engineering. Most of your time is spent translating process specifications into functional software solutions for gas turbine control systems. You collaborate closely with global teams, attend project meetings, and ensure timely delivery of hardware and software packages. Occasionally, you provide on-site support during commissioning or assist with prototype implementations in the service fleet.
Depending on your interests the development to a technical integrator and coordinator between sales, project management and controls engineering is possible. We are looking for a dedicated Project Software Engineer for Turbine Package Controls to strengthen our customer order engineering team.How You’ll Make an Impact
7. Technical clarification of process requirements and interfaces for gas turbine, generator, and auxiliary systems in new apparatus and service projects
8. Assurance of reference design application for engine upgrades and development of project-specific software solutions where required
9. Creation of hardware specifications for I&C components
10. On-time provision of functional software and hardware solutions within quality, budget, and design requirements
11. Representation of gas turbine controls scope within project teams and in customer meetings
12. Provision of qualified site support during erection and commissioning, including problem-solving for process engineering issues relevant to control engineering
What You Bring
13. Bachelor or Master in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
14. Several years of experience in engineering and/or commissioning of control systems, preferably in the energy sector
15. Knowledge of state-of-the-art control system hardware and professional experience with SPPA-T3000, PCS7, or equivalent environments
16. Openness to new technologies and collaborative working styles
17. Strong team orientation, ownership mindset, and result-driven approach
18. Good command of English and German languages
