Purpose
The Director Digital Marketing is responsible for envisioning and defining the overall digital strategy of the BU in connection with the brand management and Digital Brand Commerce functions and delivering innovative and leading executions in digital touch points.
Key Accountabilities
Define and lead the overall digital strategy within the business unit, including which tools, activities and executions will deliver the best return.
Ensure the digital strategy is fully aligned with both the brand and category long term strategic approaches and that initiatives are flawlessly executed.
Mandate agencies on the creation and development of digital campaigns and initiatives.
Bridge with cross-functional departments to ensure flawless execution and seamless connection plans:
Digital Brand Commerce, IT, Media, Brand Comms, PR, Social, Consumer Engagement, Retail, Runtastic, Future etc.
Mandate and keep the relationship with external resources and partners to service the global strategy.
Own and allocate the budget and ensure to get the best return in investment
Analyze key digital analytics to monitor success of digital campaigns and shape future strategies.
Analyze internal resources (digital analytics and research) to deliver consumer insights which inform the business unit global strategy.
Continuously investigate emerging technologies and platforms with the aim of finding new ways to engage with the target audience

Knowledge, Experiance and Capabilities
* Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and very high level of strategic thinking.
* Senior experience in marketing digital campaign development and execution.
* Academic and professional deep understanding of an ever-changing digital landscape and advanced experience in project management.
* Senior experience with digital production process and technical nature of developing digital marketing initiatives.
* Ability to collaborate and manage platforms and tools used by multiple functions as well as ability to manage and / or collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups: product marketing, communications, social, digital.
* Senior working knowledge of:
* Office software,
* Development languages (including but not limited to: HTML, DHTML, Flash, Javascript, XML, asp, java, CSS),
* Analytics systems,
* Standard CMS platforms
* Digital channels (social, owned and emerging technologies).
* Broad understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion/entertainment industry.
* State of the art presentation and organizational skills.
Qualifications
1. Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital or a related field. Master Degree / MBA a plus.
2. 8+ years’ industry and / or relevant work experience.
3. Fluent written and spoken English language skills.
