Lead Principal Engineer Technical Marketing In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy for the ARES (Appliances & Renewable Energy Systems) segment. Responsibilities include: Developing and implementing a comprehensive technical marketing (TM) strategy that aligns with the segment's vision and goals Creating product roadmaps that address the needs of global customers and applications, ensuring that they are tailored to meet the specific requirements of the ARES segment Prioritizing roadmap items and ensuring alignment with sales organizations, customers, and other stakeholders, including R&D, QM, and OP, to guarantee a cohesive approach Driving design‑in activities for new products and coordinating technical support and collateral development for CD products targeting ARES applications Defining and driving the technical definition of GCO product solutions for ARES applications, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications Building and maintaining technical partnerships with key customers, and influencing key decision‑makers to drive business growth Establishing and driving technical partnerships with local partner ecosystems, from concept to prototyping, to foster innovation and collaboration Enabling the Field Application Engineer (FAE) and Disti FAE community with product trainings and roadmap updates, ensuring that they are equipped to support customers effectively Influencing local standardization groups and industry associations in favor of overall IFX solutions, to promote industry‑wide adoption and recognition Qualifications: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field, providing a solid foundation in power electronics and related technologies At least 8 years of professional experience in the semiconductor power electronics market, with a background in application engineering, system engineering, concept engineering, or a similar role, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry and its requirements Several years of experience in leading cross‑functional teams and driving strategic planning, showcasing your ability to collaborate and drive results In‑depth knowledge of power technologies, including wide‑bandgap, discretes, modules, and gate drivers, enabling you to make informed decisions and drive innovation Familiarity with ARES applications and a proven track record of driving product definition and roadmap planning, demonstrating your ability to drive business growth and success Excellent English communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders in a global organization, ensuring effective collaboration and communication A strong customer orientation and a demonstrated ability to drive business growth through strategic planning and execution, showcasing your commitment to delivering results and driving success Good knowledge of Chinese business culture.
