(Senior) Firewall / IT Security Specialist (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities – What We Expect from You
* the establishment, further development, and optimization of the company’s IT security
* the administration, ongoing maintenance, and monitoring of central and local firewall systems (particularly Cisco and Fortinet) as well as VPN and SIEM systems
* the implementation of measures for network and system hardening
* the early detection and sustainable resolution of vulnerabilities and security risks
* Ensuring a scalable and future-proof security architecture
* Supporting the development of concepts for technical feasibility and the efficient implementation of business and technical requirements
Your Profile - You’ll impress us with
* a completed IT-related apprenticeship or degree, or relevant professional experience as a career changer
* solid experience in the field of IT security and network protocols (including IPv6)
* Extensive practical experience in the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and continuous optimization of firewall systems (Cisco and Fortinet)
* Experience in assessing the risks of security incidents
* Good written and spoken German skills (at least C1 level)
* A structured approach to work, as well as an agile and proactive mindset
* Enjoyment of contributing to the team and collaborating with others
