Job Description
We are looking for new colleagues on a fulltime base (40 h/week) working for our customer onsite in a modern office in the heart of the Berlin City Centre on a hybrid working model base for one year with extension for one more year. Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Java and Kotlin
• Work with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our backend systems
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers
• Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of applications
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our systems
Ihr Profil
Qualifications
• A min. of 3 years proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with a strong focus on Java and Kotlin
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with RESTful API design and development
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
