Job description:
We are looking to fill the position of a qualified Key Account Manager OE Sales (m/f/d)as soon as possible.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop relationships with the German OE account across all levels (purchasing, quality, supply chain, marketing, and executive management).
* Lead quotation processes, price negotiations, and product presentations for OE customers.
* Coordinate all information related to ongoing and new projects between internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure achievement of budget targets, product availability, and customer service levels, including corrective actions when needed.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to support strategic decision-making.
* Deliver accurate monthly reporting on sales, forecasts, and market share performance.
* Drive effective communication and information flow across all involved internal teams and global counterparts.
* Identify new business opportunities and inform management for further evaluation and action.
* Analyze vehicle/platform programs and anticipate future customer needs, including sustainability and technology trends (e.g., RFID).
* Act as European coordination lead for global account activities, ensuring alignment across regions and maximizing OE end-to-end business opportunities.
Required Qualifications and Professional Experience
Education, Master’s degree, other certifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
* Several years of professional experience in a comparable role within the automotive industry.
* Proven experience in Original Equipment (OE) business is strongly preferred.
Technical / Functional Skills:
* Strong understanding of automotive industry dynamics, OE processes, and market environment.
* Solid skills in account management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
* Good knowledge of supply chain, product lifecycle management, and cross-functional coordination.
Language Skills:
* Fluent in English (written and spoken).
* German is considered a strong advantage.
