Junior Procurement Manager Supply Chain Management (m/f/d)
to join our fast-growing team in Hamburg.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in procurement operations:
* Prepare, process, and issue purchase orders and requisitions; analyze invoices for accuracy; and ensure adherence to procurement policies.
Vendor Coordination And Delivery Tracking
* Communicate with suppliers to confirm orders and delivery schedules; continuously monitor delivery progress; and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
Recordkeeping And System Maintenance
* Update supplier databases, charts, spreadsheets, and internal systems to reflect accurate procurement data.
Monitoring Supplier Performance
* Track and assess supplier reliability for quality and timeliness; report issues or delays to the Procurement Manager.
Administrative Support And Documentation
* Organize procurement documentation such as contracts, POs, delivery notes, and invoices; assist with filing, dashboards, or ERP systems.
Logistics And Supply Chain Support
* Coordinate logistics activities including transportation, warehouse coordination, and inventory tracking.
Invoicing & Payment Follow-up
* Track and follow up on supplier invoices, ensuring they are submitted correctly and on time.
* Check procurement and finance systems for invoice approval status, resolve mismatches, and ensure timely settlement of supplier accounts.
* Maintain an accurate register of all invoices and payments linked to procurement activities.
Skills & Experience
* Educational background: Bachelor's or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
* Technical skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with ERP/procurement software and financial systems preferred.
* Language skills: Strong proficiency in English for both written and spoken communication
* Soft skills: Excellent attention to detail, organizational strength, proactive attitude, and strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
* Experience preferences: Internship or coursework experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, or administrative support. Logistics/supply chain background is an advantage.
