What we achieve together
In this senior role, you will take end to end responsibility for designing, optimizing, and transforming our Purchasing and Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes with a focus on direct materials. As part of the Digital Process World (DPW) team, you will drive the transition to SAP S/4HANA, establish standards, and deliver measurable performance improvements.
* As a Consultant Procurement Excellence, you will analyze, standardize, and optimize Purchasing and P2P processes
* (strictly Purchasing/P2P – no cross functional scope outside Purchasing)
* Hold business process ownership in the SAP landscape (today R/3, moving to S/4HANA) – fit to standard, blueprint, rollout, stabilization
* Lead cross functional projects, including change management and stakeholder alignment
* Shape the S/4HANA transformation in Purchasing in close collaboration with Purchasing, Plants, IT, and Finance
* Enable the organization: trainings, guidelines, and playbooks for Purchasing & P2P
* Make impact visible: define KPIs, create reports and management presentations

What makes us successful together
* Degree (bachelor or master) in business administration or similar
* Senior level experience (several years) in process optimization within Purchasing/P2P and proven background in an industrial/manufacturing or corporate environment
* Strong SAP expertise in Purchasing is mandatory:
o at least SAP R/3 (esp. MM / P2P relevant processes)
o SAP S/4HANA strongly preferred (ideally transformation/rollout experience)
* Project & change management with tangible implementation results
* Analytical, structuring, and execution skills as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management at senior level
* Business fluent English; German would be a plus, not a must-have
