About The Role
As Finance Manager, Supply Chain you will be the lead resource of APX supply chain regarding financial control, forecasting, financial closing, budgeting, cost accounting, analyses, and financial reporting.
You will report to the Sr Director, Finance – APX Operations
Key Responsibilities
Provide financial oversight and decision support to APX Supply Chain organization and APX Finance Management team
Partner with Project Management, Project Finance, and Project Controls to ensure accurate forecasting for the Project and work with General Accounting (GAC) and Financial Controls to ensure proper reporting and compliance with policies
Lead development, preparation and delivery of the annual business plan
Lead the monthly closing, forecasting and reporting processes for the segment including preparation and delivery of reports, analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, identify main variances and trends and propose appropriate actions
Collaborate with other members of BU and WEC finance to ensure financial reporting requirements are met and consistent best practices are utilized
Coordinate the development of detailed cost center budgets and support the calculation of labor clearance rates in conjunction with overall APX Budget/Rate process
Establish and support new management reporting processes and cadence to support APX BU and drive enhancements and standardization in financial planning, reporting and analysis to provide high value and financial analysis
Recommend and review accounting entries as needed for Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts
Directly support APX Project and Supply Chain Operations team on ad-hoc projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
5+ years broad based finance experience, 10-12 years typical
Knowledge of accounting theory, generally accepted accounting principles, internal control procedures, financial concepts (including financial planning techniques)
Experience in SAP, BPC, Business Warehouse
