As one of the most successful and innovative personnel services companies in Germany, we are looking for a full-Contract Manager (m/f/d) for our renowned client in Friedberg for a project lasting at least two years.
In this role, you will lead and coordinate contract and claim management activities across our client´s "Robotics & Discrete Automation" operations. You will be a key contact when it comes to assessing contract risks, supporting tender processes, and protecting our client´s commercial interests during project execution. With your strong legal and commercial understanding. You will work closely with the legal department and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and resolve disputes where needed.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Identifying contract baselines and conducting risk assessments in line with internal guidelines and processes
* Reviewing, negotiating, and managing selected contracts and non-disclosure agreements in close collaboration with the legal and business teams
* Drafting and managing legal correspondence with customers and suppliers
* Supporting the legal team in the resolution of disputes, claims, litigation, and arbitration
* Protecting ABB’s contractual position throughout the project lifecycle, including change and deviation management
* Ensuring compliance with our client´s Code of Conduct as well as global and local contract management standards and tools
You will join a collaborative and experienced team, where you will be able to contribute to your legal and commercial skills in a dynamic and international environment.
* Remote Work is possible with a minimum of 3 days on site
* 35-hour week
Your Skills & Abilities (must-have):
* Degree in Law, Business Law, or a comparable field with a solid understanding of economical and contractual Frameworks
* Practical experience in contract and claim management, ideally in an industrial or project-driven environment
* Familiarity with contract law and risk assessment methodologies
* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
* Hands-on mentality with a structured and customer-oriented approach
* Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international teams
* Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, is essential
