We are looking for a Service Delivery and Contract Manager to join our growing team in Darmstadt, Germany.
You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of services to our clients, including to the European Institutions and industry within the space sector.
Tasks and activities
The scope of work will include:
* Being responsible for managing the contracts and ensuring the quality of the service delivery to all clients in Germany, liaising between the client, the employees and the Starion Group back office.
* Coordinating the kick-off of new contracts, integrating the delivery and reporting requirements into the monthly planning and ensuring the on-site teams are aware of the contractual requirements.
* Performing the financial and technical monitoring of the contracts, highlighting possible risks and areas for improvement.
* Building strong relationships with the client, understanding the technical and organizational challenges they face and identifying possible new business opportunities from RHEA Group.
* Being responsible for ensuring the deliveries of the contract are achieved on time.
* Compiling and quality assuring the monthly and quarterly reporting of the service contracts under the German space institutional and industrial clients.
* Completing all required financial reporting and liaising with the technical staff for timely input.
* Monitoring internal and client KPIs.
* Implementing and monitoring the operations management processes across Germany, including:
* Ensuring clear communications with employees, and compliance with internal requirements.
* Reaching out on a regular basis to our employees in more remote locations, ensuring engagement with Starion Group and managing any questions/concerns they may have.
* Coordinating the performance management program, assisting in the annual performance review process.
Skills and experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in an Engineering, Science or Business background.
* Previous experience in a technical services provider.
* The ability to build networks and relationships (both social and professional) easily.
* Good organizational and planning skills.
* Able to take a diplomatic approach to problem solving.
* Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and numerical reasoning.
* Good data analysis skills and competence in technical learning.
* Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
* Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken. German, both written and spoken, is an asset.
The following skills and experience would be highly desirable:
* Knowledge of the German space industry.
