To support our expanding operations, we are seeking multiple Payroll Specialists to join our 25-member expert department at our Berlin or Leipzig offices.
Your Key Tasks
* Full-Cycle Payroll: Take ownership of monthly payroll execution for a dedicated client base (roughly 800–1,000 employees).
* Regulatory Filings: Manage all necessary reporting for social security, wage taxes, and statutory certifications.
* Consultative Support: Serve as a knowledgeable advisor for clients on matters regarding social insurance and tax law.
* Administration: Oversee master data accuracy and act as the primary liaison for health insurance funds and government agencies.
* Compliance: Tackle intricate payroll scenarios and perform thorough audits to ensure high-quality standards.
* Annual Closing: Assist with year-end procedures and prepare documentation for external inspections (such as pension insurance audits).
* Strategic Growth: Contribute to the integration of new clients and help refine internal payroll workflows.
Your Qualifications
* Background: A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in German payroll accounting (Lohnbuchhaltung).
* Expertise: Solid command of current German social security and wage tax regulations.
* Communication: Fluency in German (C1 level) is mandatory for both verbal and written interactions.
* Software: Proficiency in MS Office and payroll systems (prior experience with SBS Lohn is a major advantage).
* Approach: An organized, client-focused professional who thrives in a paperless, digital environment.
* Preferred Skills: Experience with public sector payroll or construction-specific (Baulohn) payroll is highly desirable.
