Overview Location: Remote, UK. Open to candidates based in our Munich HQ. Travel: Occasional to meet clients or attend industry events. Visa sponsorship: Preference for candidates already based in the UK who do not require visa sponsorship, but we are open to candidates who may need relocation or a visa. What you will work on Your mission Accelerate Emidat’s growth by acquiring new leads, being Emidat’s first face to the customer and building our predictable, repeatable revenue engine. As our more experienced Sales Development Exec (UK&I), you will partner with the team (Sales Development Rep and the Account Exec) to drive our revenue pipeline, focusing on the UK&I market. You are the first face and voice to our customer, so this role is ideal if you enjoy working with people and have a talent for understanding and solving their problems. At Emidat, top-of-funnel is as important as closing deals. We are seeking a proactive, competitive, and results-driven individual who loves building relationships and driving customer impact. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments with excellent communication and customer engagement skills. This role also involves a curiosity for material manufacturing and construction, with customers in the manufacturing sector. (Note: we think visiting steel, cement and glass plants is exciting and valuable for understanding how customers use our product.) In the first 6 months, you will: Strategic Leadership & Execution: Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and qualify high-potential customers within our core manufacturing verticals. Market Ownership & Campaign Execution: Drive market expansion by identifying emerging verticals and owning end-to-end outbound campaigns—from strategic targeting to multi-channel client outreach. Industry Presence & Relationship Building: Represent Emidat at key industry events to build and nurture long-term relationships with strategic stakeholders across the UK market. What you should bring to this role Minimum Requirements Language Proficiency: Business fluent in English, both written and verbal, for sophisticated engagement with UK&I stakeholders. Sales Acumen: Proven success in a sales or business development role, ideally within a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment. Stakeholder Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate Emidat's value proposition, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and build foundational trust with key customer personas and internal partners. Autonomy & Organisation: Proactive, autonomous, with strong organizational skills to manage a remote workload and drive results with minimal supervision. Nice to have’s Scale-up Experience: Prior experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up, especially with new market entry or building an early-stage revenue function. European Context: Familiarity with or experience in the European startup ecosystem. Remote Work Success: Comfort and effectiveness in a remote-first work environment.
