Job Description: Head of Marketing Business Partner MS
As the Head of Marketing Business Partner MS, you partner with the CEO and Business Line managers to establish marketing strategies that support the achievement of business goals. This role demands leadership, strategic thinking, familiarity with TÜV SÜD's business sectors, and stakeholder management skills to navigate a matrix environment and drive marketing excellence. Acting as a bridge between the division and regions, you ensure consistency and alignment of priorities. You will lead, manage, and develop a team of divisional and regional business partners, providing coaching and guidance to enhance performance, collaboration, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing: Partner with the Business Unit to deliver strategic marketing insights through understanding the industry, divisional business model, competitors, and customers. Provide marketing consultancy to validate opportunities and define data-driven strategies and plans aligned with business priorities, revenue targets, and market expansion goals. Offer comprehensive advice and reporting on marketing activities.
2. Market & Customer Insights: Leverage market data, customer insights, and competitor analysis to develop impactful product marketing strategies, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans.
3. Content Strategy: Develop a content strategy for globally relevant topics, including value propositions and customer personas, cascading to relevant markets via Regional Business Partners.
4. Global Market Activation & Campaign Execution: Create content and campaigns for activation in key markets, translating internal inputs into compelling communication strategies. Collaborate with Digital Marketing CoE and Creative & Publishing Hub to deliver high-performing campaigns.
5. Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Drive performance-focused campaigns by tracking key metrics and reporting their impact. Evaluate campaign effectiveness for continuous improvement.
6. Team Management: Lead the Marketing Business Partners for MS, ensuring a deep understanding of topics and business cases to effectively incorporate regional insights into the global strategy.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with internal teams, including Digital Marketing CoE, Creative & Publishing Hub, Sales, and other departments.
Qualifications
* University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum five years of experience in B2B and B2C marketing, business partnering, strategic planning, product marketing, or similar roles in a global environment.
* At least two years of stakeholder management experience in a technical business environment. Leadership experience is advantageous.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of German is a plus. Ability to adapt messages to cultural nuances across markets.
* Knowledge of digital marketing principles, technologies, and analytics to optimize engagement and conversions.
* Confident, resourceful, self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable.
* Proven ability to operate effectively in an international business environment.
