About the Role
An exceptional opportunity for a strategic and operationally-minded CFO to join a fast-growing, innovation-driven Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) serving the pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. As a key member of the executive team, you will lead the finance, controlling, and reporting functions while enabling scalable growth, operational excellence, and strategic transformation — including digitalization and M&A initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all finance functions including controlling, accounting, treasury, tax, and risk management
* Drive robust financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting aligned with operational goals
* Build and lead a high-performance finance team for a rapidly scaling organization
* Implement modern, data-driven financial systems to support a digital-first model
* Ensure effective liquidity, cash flow, and working capital management
* Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and board, including support for capital raising and investor relations
* Monitor commercial performance across multiple manufacturing and R&D sites
* Lead M&A due diligence and integration processes
* Ensure regulatory and accounting compliance (HGB, IFRS, and international standards)
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Proven experience as CFO or Finance Director in a mid-sized, growth-focused manufacturing or healthcare company
* Strong track record in scaling finance operations and implementing modern BI/reporting tools
* Experience with private equity or investor-backed organizations is a strong plus
* Deep understanding of German and international accounting standards (HGB, IFRS)
* Commercially astute, hands-on, and entrepreneurially minded
* Exposure to capex-heavy environments, cost control, and margin optimization
* Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
