A Snapshot of Your Day Join us as a Risk Manager (Nuclear New Build - NNB) based in Germany (Erlangen or Mülheim an der Ruhr), where you will support the risk evaluation and the failures prevention across complex products and projects in the nuclear environment. You will operate across the full lifecycle—from product development interfaces to early opportunity shaping and bid readiness to project execution—ensuring risk management is consistently applied in line with our standards and with a nuclear standards and regulations. In this role, you help teams ensure risks transparency, enable robust decisions, and support the portfolio and project objectives.How You’ll Make an Impact
4. You will understand customer requirements and help ensure projects and the portfolio address the risks linked to meeting those objectives.
5. Partner with risk owners to maintain and improve risk management plans that are practical, current, and aligned with process instructions.
6. Lead and facilitate cross-functional risk workshops with engineering, procurement, quality, suppliers, commercial teams, project management, and management stakeholders.
7. Drive consistent use of risk management methods across the NNB portfolio, including risk and opportunity identification, assessment, response, monitoring, reporting, and escalation.
8. Coach teams on tools and standards, challenge response strategies, highlight unmanaged high residual risks, and support risk owners with clear, experience-based decisions.
What You Bring
9. A strong background in engineering and project management, with hands-on risk management experience in complex nuclear or similarly regulated environments.
10. A fundamental understanding of the nuclear business, including relevant standards and regulations.
11. Experience in large-scale delivery projects, including interfaces with supply chain partners and suppliers.
12. Experience in product development environments, including interfaces with engineering, manufacturing, build or industrialization, and service operations.
13. Experience at both project and portfolio or program level, with strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, plus fluent English and German at native or professional business level.
