The BIRKENSTOCK Group is headquartered in Linz am Rhein and maintains several locations in Germany, as well as sales offices in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.For our division IT ,at our location in Köln we are looking for aData Architect (m/f/d)Your Shoes To FillDesign and implement robust data architecture frameworks.Establish and enforce standards in collaboration with the Master Data Manager.Act as a key contributor in major company projects to ensure seamless data transition, particularly for Master Data and other data types.Define data flows and data models across systems.Manage data interfaces from source systems to target systems, including transformation logic during transitions.Extend and align data architecture principles across the entire IT system landscape.Support enterprise-wide standardization of data practices.Guide and coach business counterparts on how to read, interpret, and update data artifacts.Promote data literacy and ownership within business teams.Close alignment to ensure data architecture integrates with broader IT strategy.Partner with departments accountable for data, ensuring data architecture supports business needs and compliance.Your Walk Of LifeCompleted studies in the field of computer science/business informatics, mathematics, business administration or comparable qualification.Several years of professional experience in IT I roles such as solution architect, system analyst)Solid understanding of the master data management architecture, the business processes (BPMN) of an industrial company, IT systems modeling, data integration methodsDeep knowledge of data management processes and dimensions like governance; analytics; operations, etc.Strong knowledge of databases and expert systems, system analysis skills, data analysis skills, and an affinity for business processesStrong logical reasoning skills and apply your vast experience in critical thinking and decision-making process.Experience in integrationsNice to have certifications: Unified Modeling Language (UML), Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN), Data Management Association (DAMA)Good written and spoken English skills.
